Position Summary

As a Graphic Designer you'll serve as a vital member of 1440 Multiversity creative team, reporting to the Creative Manager. The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and production of professional marketing materials for both print and digital media. Your work will support organization-wide marketing, branding, and communication. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing team, and other inhouse departmentsto help manage and execute creative, from concept through final design.

Accountabilities:

  • Create compelling email, print, web, and social media visuals that inspire action and are aligned with current best practices in design and marketing
  • Prepare print files, review proofs and communicate corrections
  • Photograph, edit, and organize photos in our photo library
  • Helps manage yearly photoshoot calendar
  • Sketch, ideate, and generate illustration concepts within brand perimeters
  • Helps manage creative files and keeps library assets in order 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years minimum of real-world digital, print, and web graphic design experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and require minimal direction
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Has strong organization skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable in basic front-end website design (HTML and CSS)
  • Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroomand Microsoft office required
  • Advanced photo editing techniques such as retouching and color correction
  • Has excellent design, layout and typography skills
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
  • Creative application of branded elements
